System Function
Access Control and Subscriber Authorization: Generate and send the subscriber authorization. for example, subscribe certain channel, classified program group or certain program number or fixed topic/level (except programs number which needs to be authorized, other authorization all are controlled by time, such as take effect from the date of beginning to the date of ending).

Cancel Subscriber Authorization(according to PPCPPMPBTthe order of programs): Cancel all kinds of subscriber authorizations. When authorization has been canceled, the subscriber can not watch the authorized programs. .( PPM:Pay Per Month PPC:Pay per Channel PBT:Pay by Time, is similar to an IPPV service

Add money to subscribers smart card: after subscriber pays IPPV programs in advance, CAS will add the payment into the subscribers smart card by EMM. When there is deposit in the card, subscriber can watch certain programs and pay it by smart card.

Subscriber Register: create a new subscriber, and send the info of subscriber to subscribers card by EMM.

Pause subscriber authorization: pause the subscriber authorization, at that time;

subscriber can not watch encrypted programs.

Recall subscriber authorization: recall the subscriber authorization which has been paused, if the subscriber authorization exists, then the subscriber can watch encrypted programs.

Urgent subscriber authorization: Send subscribers present authorization immediately and subscriber will receive the authorization very quickly, and watch programs.

Send broadcast e-mail.
Share combined authorization: according to the information of subscriber authorization, subscriber management system can gather subscriber groups which have same programs together, and allocate a sharing address to them. Thus, it can send subscribers authorization by the sharing address.when the number of subscribers is large, and this method of authoirzaion will reduce the occupying bandwidth of EMM, thus, subscribers can receive subscriber authorization quickly.

Cancel program producer: in the subscribers card, you can create many working areas for different program producers. In working areas of every program producer have their independent key data areas and authorization data areas. Canceling program producers that means delete these data areas to make the data invalid. When a certain program producer is canceled, subscribes will not watch the encrypted programs provided by the program producer.

Free authorization: send free authorization to subscriber, after subscriber receives authorization, subscriber will watch the corresponding encrypted programs.

Delete smart card: delete pointed subscribers smart card. When subscribers card receives the delete order, the authorization data will clear all, thereby subscriber can not watch all kinds of encrypted programs.

Key update: update IKSKPDK keys data by hand. Subscriber receives the key updated data, if it is logical, the new updated key will replace the old existed key.

Record control: setup record control mark, IRD can control to record program by mark. Mark has two statuses: one mark stands for recording, and the other stands for forbidding recording.

One card for one Set-Top-Box: this function is optional, which is controlled by front-end system. If the system is set up to one card for one device, then when it is used, the smart card will judge whether the set-top-box is matched with itself, if matched, subscriber can watch encrypted programs.

Block number control: smart card is set up a CAS block number, the block number is read in smart card by reading card system. When update or upgrade the data of reading card system, the block number of smart card will be changed. When CAS system is upgraded, if the block number of system is lower than the upgraded systems, then, the smart card will not watch the encrypted programs.
